The Nurse Anesthetist will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluate patients' medical history, physical condition, and anesthesia risks.
Prepare anesthesia equipment, medications, and monitoring devices before procedures.
Administer anesthesia as authorized and in accordance with hospital policies, professional standards, and clinical protocols.
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status before, during, and after anesthesia.
Recognize and respond promptly to anesthesia-related complications and medical emergencies.
Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients during recovery until they are clinically stable.
