We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technologist to join our dental healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, repairing, and maintaining dental prostheses and appliances according to dental prescriptions and patient requirements. The role requires accuracy, creativity, and strong technical skills to ensure high-quality dental laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, repair, and modify dental prostheses including crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances.
Interpret dental prescriptions and instructions from dentists to produce accurate dental restorations.
Prepare dental models, impressions, casts, and molds for laboratory procedures.
Perform procedures such as waxing, casting, polishing, finishing, and adjustment of dental appliances.
Ensure all dental laboratory products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment and tools.
Perform quality checks on completed dental appliances before delivery.
Maintain proper records of laboratory cases, materials used, and completed work.
Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and infection prevention practices within the dental laboratory.
Manage dental materials, supplies, and equipment inventory.
Collaborate effectively with dentists and dental clinical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
